Gifts in Kind

If you have historic records relating to people or places in Dorset, you might consider the benefits of placing these documents at the Dorset History Centre, where they will be kept in specialist storage facilities and be cared for by professional staff. Records can be received as an outright gift, or on ‘long-term loan’, where you can retain ownership of the documents whilst they are held here. If archives are accepted at the Dorset History Centre, you can be assured of their long-term preservation and accessibility to the wider world.
