Two Manuscript Insurance Policy Books 1853-1866 relating to the Sherborne area
The books contain details of names, occupations and addresses, as well as the contents of homes, farms and shops. The volumes include information relating to Sherborne Castle estate and Sherborne Abbey, as well as various properties within the town and other villages in Dorset and South Somerset. A really interesting source for family, buildings and local historians.
